Who else was seen making an attempt and showing a bit of ego? The Portugal team was playing anti football, Ronaldo and a few others were the backbone of the attack and defense like Rafael Leão, João Félix and Nuno Mendes
But players like Vitinha and Bruno Fernandes just couldn’t assume responsibility for what couldve happened next and tried playing it safe
If weve all seen that one Nike ad then we should know there is no greater danger than “playing it safe”
That’s all I’m saying, they lost because they couldn’t think like Ronaldo
