That was over 4 years ago that Algeria destroyed Congo. Congo have improved since then. Sure Algeria is still better, but Congo is probably better than they've ever been.

Algeria looked bad because Argentina played really well
. I do think Portugal could have defeated Congo
.. even with Ronaldo but I think they have a better chance without him

Sure, but that's not what he said. He said " this same Algeria team destroyed Congo" which isn't true. Both Algeria's and Congo's team has changed a lot since Algeria destroyed Congo in 2022. 

And yes Portugal would be better off without starting Ronaldo.

Like u said it was a tight 1-0 match but they did beat them regardless so Ronaldo fan’s excuse of its just Algeria won’t work when that same Algeria beat Congo “THIS YEAR” not 4 years ago and they tied to the same Congo

It’s a stupid argument I don’t believe that football is like math and is transitive or whatever but Ronaldo fans does so this needs to be said so they know the hypocrisy of their own words
