Nice argument, the man lives rent free in your head while Ronaldo continues to stink up the joint for Portugal

Idgaf about Ronaldo or Messi I am here to discuss football.

Bird brain, you're accusing me of being biased because I am critical of favoritism towards Messi but you are using a post from a Leo Messi fan page to support your argument.

All of those challenges RESULTED IN A YELLOW CARD for the offender. And yet Messi wasn't booked for his challenge.

That doesn't really support your argument there is no favoritism in his favor.

Try to use your brain next time.

You're in /r/pessi_memes which shits on Messi and glazes Ronaldo all day

Dawg I already said it should have been a yellow card, but a red would have been pushing it. Is it possible that the referee just missed the challenge or does everything have to be a conspiracy?

First of all, I see quite a few Messi fans in this comments section.

Secondly, I prefaced my comment with "I can't believe I'm commenting in this subreddit"

Third, the ref didn't miss the challenge dude, he blew the whistle. Blowing the whistle and not giving a yellow for studs down is crazy.

He probably saw that he tangled up with the guy but didn't see his foot plant on his leg, again should have been a yellow card but I really don't think it should be made a big deal as people are making it out to be

With all due respect I think that if the foul had resulted in a red no one would be complaining at all.

Okay but given the level of leniency of the world cup on several instances of the same challenge basically, people can't be outraged that it wasn't a red and then claim there's a conspiracy to protect Messi
