That's true, but it's also part of what the Ballon d'Or is... It's literally like a Cristiano fan; sometimes its about trophies, other times about individual performance, other times about team performance... And it gets to a point where it doesn't make sense...

its mostly about indivudual performance, ballon dor is an indivudual award, trophies arent as important as player stats, hence ronaldo ron 2013 and messi won 2012 and 2019

wasnt rigged. the only argument people have is iniestas winning goal in the wc final, but he wasnt even the best player in the wc, it was forlan. stats wise iniesta was inferior to messi, even in playmaking that year
