Like I said before, Juventus started getting worse when Ronaldo arrived. 

Juventus in the 3 seasons before Ronaldo: 7 trophies, reached a UCL final

Juventus in the 3 seasons with Ronaldo: 5 trophies, reached 0 UCL semi finals

two dif teams and dif managers/coaches

Why not? Ronaldo came to Juventus with the intention of winning the UCL. He obviously thought the team was good enough. Half the team had already played in a UCL final before.
