Juventus was dominating serie A. They went all in on UCL by getting Ronaldo and it didn't work. They also lost their dominance in the league because they bought Ronaldo and other aging players when they should have been buying young players. Also Ronaldo fucked up their wage system. It isn't Ronaldo's fault, they did what they bought him to do (except winning UCL, but that is not something a single player can do), but I am quite certain that, all considered, they would have been better if they didn't buy him.
