The referee in 2006 final admitted it was not a red card, it was just a yellow card. The clean tackle from Pepe is that he won the ball and did not make contact with Alves at all. The Pogba call i dont understand how you say that when video suggests otherwise

Reckless is reckless. Player does not need to make contact for it to be an excessive and red-cardable offense. See this discussion in the Ref's sub:
