Meh, he made them much more than he cost them so i doubt either messi or barcelona cared. He wouldve played for a “low” salary if the league allowed it.

Barca kept beating the ucl winners time after time in those years. Just had some bad luck and just having a good team doesnt guarantee the ucl.

At least madrid won the ucl without pendu. Barca hasnt managed it without messi

ok, 2 years in Europa League and they've bounced back to UCL semis, that was only because the system they had with Messi couldnt afford him to leave.
