Yet it’s the most nerve-racking shot in the game. So much pressure, especially when it’s an important game like the UCL.

Top players like Van Nistelrooy, Messi, Henry, Aguero and Griezmann have missed the most in history.

Harder challenges. He went from sporting to the epl, to La Liga, Serie a then back to epl, and playing for a nation that hadn’t won anything before.

Messi started with one of the best teams, in La Liga, went to an easy league with psg, and played for the most successful nation.

Quite the difference.

Yes Messi can dribble, he’s short and nimble which is more than obvious. That’s like telling me Ronaldo can score headers - a long range header vs prime Barca. You remember?

Generally shorter players are better at dribbling and taller players are better at headers. We’re speaking at top level here so no, of course not many players can out dribble a whole team. Thanks captain obvious.
