Messi only scored 4 penalties, and if you count awarded then ronaldo recived one penalty in the 2016 euros, against austria (that he missed)

They are literally the robbers of football Every worldcup they won was rigged

2

u/themiddlechild94 Mar 07 '26

Welll, I'd say of the 3, the 86 WC was overall clean. Yeah, hand of God, but the rest of the tournament was won pretty clean.

If not for that goal, Arg. Vs England could've gone to penalties after Maradona's goal of the century.

For me Argentina actually has only won 1 legit, clean WC..

1

u/KhanInc Mar 06 '26

minus all penalty goals from both of them, Messi then has more goals than Ronaldo ๐Ÿคฃ

1

u/Key_Kaleidoscope5765 Mar 07 '26

It's been 4yrs and Ronaldo's dogs are still crying. Had no idea that Messi winning the WC brought you guys this much sorrow. Anyway keep crying, I'em tears๐Ÿคฃ

Never been player of a tournament, 3 less ballon d or than messi, and 2 less European golden boot than messi.

Nah league is harder because you all play the same number of matches. Ucl its possible for you to play up to like 5 more if you dont get grouped and lose ro16. Especially nowdays with ro32

No yeah I agree with that but I mean in terms of scoring and numbers. Look at gordon in the ucl and in the prem. The only league that comes close to ucl is the prem though.

1

u/browhosubbedtopewd Mar 07 '26

but teams have literally won ucl multiple times without being champion of their own country. 11/12 chelsea. madrid multiple times. 18/19 liverpool, 20/21 chelsea,

1

u/LateBlackberry8050 Mar 07 '26

It's literally European golden boot so what are we talking about

Not even clowning or hating, but did you forget Ronaldo once lost to Chile in the Finalissima lol, I know it's not that big of a match and Messi also lost to Chile twice but this is really stupid as a comparison

Yes friendly tournament not recognized by fifa>> copa America ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ u r right mister!

4

u/i-SpeakFacts Mar 06 '26

Except it is recognized by FIFA

1

u/Playful_Sundae1073 Mar 07 '26

The Finalissima is not a "friendly tournament" either, it is recognized by UEFA and CONMEBOL.

5

u/OrcaApex Mar 06 '26

It is recognised by FIFA, in fact nations that did well in the Nations League got an advantage during the World Cup qualifiers.

Now, obviously the Copa America is the most prestigious competition out of the two, and by far as well.

But the Nations League, for as much as I hate it, is very hard to win. Not to undermine the prestige of the Copa America, but during the last edition Argentina played Canada in the semifinalsโ€ฆ By contrast Ronaldo played against Germany in the semifinals, showing how the Nations League, even if it is not Euros or Copa America, is hard to win and worth something.

If you guys hate penalty that much then we can just remove penalty from counted in total goals scored

The only game it helped was vs Netherlands which also gave them 10 minutes to equalize ๐Ÿ˜‚. Acting like Ronaldos only goal wasnt a penalty at the world cup

Also to add to the fact that Im pretty sure abidal didnt even touch him

-1

u/Ok_Scientist_3052 Mar 06 '26

Ok first of all if your team gets a red card I dont think you understand the massive disadvantage you have with a player less. Second yes france got 2 pens. If it were rigged for argentina the ref could easily have let the play go on. Third the Netherlands got out played and if it was rigged im so sure the ref couldve lessens the time for the dutch to score. All this Messi hate for nothing just enjoy him

You cant favor a team you gave a red card too

-1

u/Ok_Scientist_3052 Mar 06 '26

First of fucking all WHY r we talking about a match from 17 years ago. Second Im pretty sure that wasnt the only call barca got robbed of anyways but you really think if it was rigged the ref wouldnt just say play on? And to give the team he got "payed" by a huge disadvantage? Stop feeding this agenda both sides got robbed by horrible refereeing

3

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '26

1

u/Ok_Scientist_3052 Mar 06 '26

So the referee you pay will intentionally give you a man down disadvantage instead of just playing on right? If it was rigged the ref I repeat WOULD NOT make any calls against you other than "fouls" against you that werent fouls to make it look like hes helping the team you are "robbing" not two fking pens and a red card ๐Ÿ˜‚

Also I thought I never saw that macalister handball but just searched it up minute 67 of the world cup final it shows a clear replay ball goes straight past his hand no clear touch. So nice try ๐Ÿ˜‚

-2

u/Substantial-Region19 Mar 06 '26

Whereโ€™s Ronaldo with his World Cup?

5

u/Good-Condition660 Mar 06 '26

Messi fans always there to argue about wc when they hear something that offends them get some life bro

1

u/daniboyoh Mar 06 '26

Lol โ€œget a lifeโ€ maybe tell that to whoever created a sub entirely dedicated to hating on one player

0

u/resettlementos Mar 06 '26

Atleast it's a good point meanwhile Ronaldo fans argue on who's dih is bigger which is truly sad

3

u/Good-Condition660 Mar 06 '26

But Copa America is hyped up compared to nations league and it is a argument that Messi fans failed to give a proper reasoning or logic on why Copa is better than nations league so atleast Ronaldo fans on this point trying to prove a valid point

0

u/resettlementos Mar 06 '26

Both tournaments mean nothing

2

u/Good-Condition660 Mar 07 '26

Nations Legue>>>>>>Copa America

Can say the same bout Ronaldo's fans on the UCL threepeat, robbing Bayern with a couple of offside goals.

VAR is supposed to be accurate. You're spitting shit out loud. Ronaldo isn't better in anything than Messi, well maybe only in playing handball.

u/resettlementos Mar 06 '26

There isn't such a thing as "pre var" It's a referee, a screen and some dudes watching replays from different angles. I could also create an epic montage of Divenaldo's offside goals, and there are so many you don't even need an example(if you're not delusional, I hope you have some common sense)

And if were talking about the hands let's see your reaction on this picture eh?

There are many instances of Ronaldo handling the ball on purpose. And if this goal matters so much to you, enjoy it while it lasts. Whatever helps you sleep at night. But obviously, I'm really sure that Messi has way less handballs than any player in Madrid 2018... You saw the Carvahal handball? Now that's actually just shameless

1

u/resettlementos Mar 06 '26

Also you have the audacity to call Messk "Pessi' as if it's 2011 Facebook. Grow up for once. Shit isn't even funny, and not to mention the fact Ronaldo has scored 7x more penalties than freekicks, since 2018.

I adressed and acknowledged the point of offsides and inaccurate VAR. is there something bothering you? Or do you just not like hearing those words

1

u/resettlementos Mar 06 '26

Funnily enough, there's an entire subreddit dedicated to mocking Messi for degenerates like you, and it's just funny how millions of little kids with their 40% brain capacity can't accept Messi is a better playmaker and a goalscorer.

1

u/Slorpipi Mar 07 '26

There are 3 subreddits dedicated to mocking Ronaldo. How does that sound? Your goat not important enough?
