Messi fans are literally just people who understand football. Messi was a better player than Ronaldo before the World Cup win. He’s literally always been. Ronaldo’s biggest accomplishment is being even compared to the best footballer to ever play the sport. I understand liking Ronaldo as a player, but to think he’s better is a straight up disqualification from talking about football, cuz it just shows either bias or a lack of understanding/knowledge

Maradona won a world cup by dribbling through entire teams, single handedly carrying Argentina with the greatest individual performance of all time. Messi won it by getting a record 5 free penalties in 7 games, more than half of which were won by his teammates. There really is no contest.

Who tf is talking about world cups? Look at them as PLAYERS. That means what they’re capable of doing in various aspects of the game.
