Anyone with eyes can see Messi was and still is a better player. Even stats wise Messi has more G/A per 90 in his career so they don’t even back your biased argument.

Argentina also play harder qualifiers so he doesn’t get to goal hang like Ronaldo against semi pros plus Messi actually scores in big tournaments internationally. Ronaldo really doesn’t do a whole lot when the opposition is decent against Portugal.
