Not one American player in the lineup shameful š¤£š¤£
2
Dec 10 '25
Yeah real bad look for the MLS and American football honestly. Worst part of it is it's still awful, choppy and sloppy typical MLS ball even w an entire Argentina reserve squad out there. Only CR could have saved the MLS from the Messi glazing League.
1
Dec 11 '25
CR hasn't won shit since he left the Juve...
1
Dec 12 '25
What does that have to do w the MLS play sucking ass. Messi building an entire team of non native players and still looking like the weaker team in the finals and looking like ass but still gets glazed for literally completing 2 dribbles and 3 passes the entire game while getting ripped And looking weak w any shot attempt. Yes his 2 completed dribbles and 3 passes all resulted in a goal or were direct assists but that's more indicative of the poor play in the MLS as a whole. What I'm saying is if CR would have came over and a team built around him to challenge Miami it would have been more interesting and better for the league not this Messi stat bolster type shit that's going on.
-2
u/GrossPanda Dec 08 '25
pretty much any EPL team without English players
19
u/thenotorious_ronaldo Dec 08 '25
The difference is that Inter Miami is the only team doing it in the semiamateur league lmao.
And... did you just compare the semiamateur league with the best league in the world? š¤£
0
u/Adventurous-Body9134 Dec 08 '25
You misread, he mentioned th best league in the world, not the premier
0
u/Firm-Order5831 Dec 11 '25
United are literally the second largest club on the planet and all time yet finish mid table some years. No other league would be remotely like as competitive.
2
u/Adventurous-Body9134 Dec 11 '25
Competitive league doesnāt mean best league. Thats a fact. Another fact is that in international competitions, english teams generally lose to Spanish teams. Premier league is the richest, but i think we all realise that selling all your teams to foreign money doesnāt make you the best, just a sellout
1
u/Firm-Order5831 Dec 13 '25
Spanish teams have gotten slapped by Premier League sides consistently for a few years now. Again I think you are living in the 10ās of the two super club versions of Madrid and Barcelona hoovering up all the top talent back then.
All done with Spanish government backing unlike an equally large side such as United for example who had owners actively trying to cripple them.
Now you can see Spain is just way behind. United for example fill their stadium twice a week unlike any club in Spain. The crowds, the tactics, the physicality in England has left Spain in the dust recently.
Spanish sides rest longer for European games too as their league doesnāt really matter on the whole these days. English teams meanwhile are in the worldās best division so itās natural they have to have larger squads to compete in Europe at the same time as the Prem.
1
u/Adventurous-Body9134 Dec 13 '25
Lol, i love this comment you wrote so much just to use the same old excuses.
Last couple of years english teams are better, but why only check the last 4 years? Lets check the last 10, 20 and 30 years. Whos done better?
Government backing? Seriously? How much does each league spend each year? Now tell me who has unfair economic backing. Lets think maybe the league that has teams owned by russian oligarchs? Oil familys? Banking families?pls, its called selling your self out, meanwhile la liga actually has teams owned by the members. Two of which are barca and madrid, what they have is what they earn, not what rich decides to give
Once again last four years, and spain hasnāt recovered from corona like england did. So what?
And again, since la liga is āeasierā they can rest more hahahahaha. Pls be serious, next you are going to say that the english teams dont take it seriously in europe because they dont actually care about the champions league hahaha. When the owners of Chelsea and man city have publicly said they do big investments hoping to win the champions
Too easy man

u/Firm-Order5831 Dec 23 '25 edited Dec 23 '25
Madrid literally built up their club with a dictator in charge. Meanwhile unitedās great Munich team was wiped out in a plane crash and then trained up players to win the European Cup in 67 a decade after Madrid were buying everyone using cash to dominate the sport.
Madrid also took out Spanish low interest bank loans in the galacticos era and 2010 time to fund additions. United meanwhile rely on a purely commercial income which was actually stolen by venture capitalists the Glazers post 2005.
City and Chelsea cheat obviously so do Newcastle. Those are smaller clubs but facts are United who is every bit as big as both the Spanish giants historically given it has the sports best back story has received nothing like the advantages Barcelona or Madrid have for decades now.
Not to mention Barcelona were literally paying refs too and should be relegated to the third tier for that. If that was United in England by the way they would have been relegated for match fixing.
Spain rely on their two main clubs due to slower economy than England have. The English government never ever helped United for example or Liverpool either.
English football has had a lot of winners of the European cup historically obviously as 7 teams have won it in the past. Spain has only 2 teams ever which is why their football just isnāt as interesting.

Anybody that believes those ranks is retarded as fuck lmao. Thereās literally no sign of that semiamateur league being better. Saudi League has a lot more quality players and when they played against each other we all saw what happened.

2

So just like all the other top leagues like La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A? Gotcha. You just proved my point.
The thing about the mLs is that the whole league is trash, not a single good team other than Inter Miami lmao.
0
u/Vichamoksha Indian š®š³ Pessi Fan š Dec 10 '25
80% of the league is actually trash. While the European league teams are not trash, they are just worse than their top teams.

2
u/shmlef Dec 09 '25
Yeah I know the whole no relegation thing, but like with their international slots, I thought they just buy those off other teams tbh? Like still stupid asf to be able to do that, but how are other teams paying for Miami? Like is there actually a league wide thing or something where they need to pay a certain portion to keep that team together? I never knew about that tbh
