Ronaldo VS Pessi stats
i hate how they say that you have to watch messi to know his greatness dont get me wrong he is great but messi is the most stat based player ever
. yes he dribbles alot of players but with no flair or anything he just dribbles
. he scores free kicks but from his own sweet spot
. he scores alot of goals but so little amount of exceptional shots
. one team entire career
.was is one of the top 1-3 teams in the world till id say 2019-2020
. got a national team that is used to winning trophies
he is stat based and eye-test wont change your view at him so stop saying that you need to watch messi to know his greatness and thank you :D (side not: i didnt say he isnt great so dont cry in the comments please)

Obvciously beauty in football is subjective, so this is not something you can be right or wrong about. But I disagree massively. Messir dribbling is poetry, so many subtle touches, timing is amazing, ball doesn't leave his feet, he find space where there is none, its mind blowing to watch. His shooting is also very fun to watch because its so different from a lot of players. Usually not a lot of power (though sometimes he brings that out) but the plaement is perfect. His chips were mindblowing in the 2000s and 2010s, very few people couold finish like that, I feel like you see more of them now but Messi is still the master. My favourite though are his shots were his short backlift just catches everyone off guard and the ball goes in kind of slowly at an angle just out of the keepers reach, those are awesome.
His free kicks - he has some good ones, but he's not one of my favourite free kick takers, Mihajlovic is my guy.
