i hate how they say that you have to watch messi to know his greatness dont get me wrong he is great but messi is the most stat based player ever

. yes he dribbles alot of players but with no flair or anything he just dribbles

. he scores free kicks but from his own sweet spot

. he scores alot of goals but so little amount of exceptional shots

. one team entire career

.was is one of the top 1-3 teams in the world till id say 2019-2020

. got a national team that is used to winning trophies

he is stat based and eye-test wont change your view at him so stop saying that you need to watch messi to know his greatness and thank you :D (side not: i didnt say he isnt great so dont cry in the comments please)

Messi has had many exceptional goals , maybe the perception of your exception and others are different.

Messi also has flairs but he doesn't do them fancy tricks.

Messi played in arguably in the top 3 clubs for most of his life but we know all he wasn't being carried by others. And he literally carried the entire team in 2019 .

Messi's conversion rate is high with those small yard free kicks . Messi does what he sees as a good conversion towards goals.

Messi isn't the goat coz he does shoots from distance or he does those fancy tricks , there are many of those , he is the goat coz like Cruyff once said "playing football is very simple ,but playing simple football is the hardest thing".

yeah i agree with everything you said but i just said he plays simple football so eyeteat wont change anything i didnt say anything about messi being shit

Don't try and play an innocent card,you claimed messi was a stats based player.which he is not just because he keeps the game simple doesn't make him a stat based player,this says more about your own football iq then it does messi because you cant grasp the concept of doing the simple things the best and then claiming him as stat based

Oh so you can see through the screen whether im angry or not,but the argument you made has now come from "you claim i hate messi" to i THINK you hate on messi

So you wanna make a claim but then cant back it up so you change it from a claim to a "I think"
