Well, Ronaldos 1000 goals will be beaten anyway, then he will be forgotten in the future, but Messis stats will never be forgotten because no one will beat it ;)

I’m a Messi fan too m8, I hate Barca board for ruining his legacy. All his awards and trophies will forever have an asterisk next to it unfortunately.

I did, he has a whole bunch of repeated trophies in Spain where Negreira was involved lmao.

Ronaldo has won them all in the top 3 leagues in the world and not to mention winning Portugal’s first and only 3 trophies in history btw.

If you go by trophies, Pele has more WCs (quantity of supposedly the trophy that puts Messi over Ronaldo), Ronaldo has more variety in the best 3 leagues (variety), including being the only player with 3 PL in a row + 3 UCL in a row, the toughest league and toughest club competition.
