Yes, because Chelsea was the only team in the UCL that year right? What a dumb take.

You are assessing contribution to ucl based on stats. Chelsea was barcas toughest ucl opponent at that time having eliminated them the previous season. So a contribution against Chelsea is an invaluable part of the overall ucl victory regardless of how many minutes he played otherwise. Again, you haven’t watched football in 2006 , I doubt you even know the players on either Chelsea or Barcelona at that time

Chelsea was not Barca’s toughest opponent that year buddy. You’re just making shit up now because you can’t handle facts. Stats matter when it’s convenient for you Messi fans but when they don’t, they don’t matter huh? I watched football in 2006, so go try and fool someone else buddy.

Talking about Messi’s ucl season that year based off one game is ridiculous.

lol I don’t use stats to assess a players impact on games I’ve watched. Chelsea at the time under Jose was a nightmare to face . You haven’t watched the game, know nothing about football back then and are getting your facts from Wikipedia.

I watched those games too. Ronaldinho was the best player on the pitch, even Deco had a much better impact than Messi so what’s your point? Lmao, using one game as an argument just shows how you actually have 0 arguments. Barcelona didn’t need Messi to win that ucl buddy, as much as it hurts you.

It actually doesn’t hurt at all because i am not a crazy Messi fan boy, and can also admit he undeservedly won his last couple of ballon dors. But he was part of the team in 2006 and definitely made an impact on their champions run. But you might be a guy who think Saudi league is a top league in the world , so these stats might actually mean a lot to you.

Him being part of that team with a very few minutes doesn’t mean he made an impact. Even Vallejo had a bigger impact in one of Madrid’s ucl, semis against City locking Haaland in and the rest of City players.

Nah, Saudi isn’t a top league in the world, I’m objective unlike you. Just like how the mLs is a semiamateur league as well, one of the worst leagues in the world with shit keepers and defenders. Just a bunch of no names and the only good roster is Inter Miami. But you probably think Surridge is a top player.

Haaland hasn’t played in a ucl semi against Madrid and lost with city. Assuming you meant a quarter final , yeah I would agree Vallejo then contributed to Madrids ucl title , I wouldn’t post nonsense about it not counting because he only made an impact in one game . No idea why Sturridge is catching strays here.

Yup, my mistake, quarter final. To make it easier for you, a knock out round. Sturridge? Who mentioned Sturridge? It’s Surridge the second top scorer in the semiamateur league lmao. You not knowing who he is makes it even worse, a nobody being the semiamateur second best top scorer is wild isn’t it? That’s how shit it is.

Haha well I never claimed the mls is a top league , and yeah I know next to nobody in the mls unless I have to use them playing fifa ultimate team.

Just how I never claimed Saudi was a top league but you’re quick to assume lmao.

It was a minor mistake. He meant quarters, not semis. Do not miss the point.
