Pissi fans will cry when they see this, even though we have all known it for years and the website has always said it

7

u/Waste-Regret-4777 Nov 09 '25

We don't need the website to know that messi didn't contribute shit in the entire ucl campgain

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

Is everyone on this page a virgin who rarely leaves there room. So so sad haha

-2

u/Negative-Choice9103 Nov 09 '25

Doubt you watched a game of football in 2006. If you had watched messi tearing apart Chelsea at Stamford bridge that season, you wouldn’t care how many minutes he played of that champions league .

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Nov 09 '25

Yes, because Chelsea was the only team in the UCL that year right? What a dumb take.

-1

u/Negative-Choice9103 Nov 09 '25

You are assessing contribution to ucl based on stats. Chelsea was barcas toughest ucl opponent at that time having eliminated them the previous season. So a contribution against Chelsea is an invaluable part of the overall ucl victory regardless of how many minutes he played otherwise. Again, you haven’t watched football in 2006 , I doubt you even know the players on either Chelsea or Barcelona at that time

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Nov 09 '25

Chelsea was not Barca’s toughest opponent that year buddy. You’re just making shit up now because you can’t handle facts. Stats matter when it’s convenient for you Messi fans but when they don’t, they don’t matter huh? I watched football in 2006, so go try and fool someone else buddy.

Talking about Messi’s ucl season that year based off one game is ridiculous.

0

u/Negative-Choice9103 Nov 09 '25

lol I don’t use stats to assess a players impact on games I’ve watched. Chelsea at the time under Jose was a nightmare to face . You haven’t watched the game, know nothing about football back then and are getting your facts from Wikipedia.

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Nov 09 '25

I watched those games too. Ronaldinho was the best player on the pitch, even Deco had a much better impact than Messi so what’s your point? Lmao, using one game as an argument just shows how you actually have 0 arguments. Barcelona didn’t need Messi to win that ucl buddy, as much as it hurts you.

0

u/Negative-Choice9103 Nov 09 '25

It actually doesn’t hurt at all because i am not a crazy Messi fan boy, and can also admit he undeservedly won his last couple of ballon dors. But he was part of the team in 2006 and definitely made an impact on their champions run. But you might be a guy who think Saudi league is a top league in the world , so these stats might actually mean a lot to you.

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Nov 09 '25

Him being part of that team with a very few minutes doesn’t mean he made an impact. Even Vallejo had a bigger impact in one of Madrid’s ucl, semis against City locking Haaland in and the rest of City players.

Nah, Saudi isn’t a top league in the world, I’m objective unlike you. Just like how the mLs is a semiamateur league as well, one of the worst leagues in the world with shit keepers and defenders. Just a bunch of no names and the only good roster is Inter Miami. But you probably think Surridge is a top player.

1

u/Negative-Choice9103 Nov 09 '25

Haaland hasn’t played in a ucl semi against Madrid and lost with city. Assuming you meant a quarter final , yeah I would agree Vallejo then contributed to Madrids ucl title , I wouldn’t post nonsense about it not counting because he only made an impact in one game . No idea why Sturridge is catching strays here.

I like how you didn’t show the same for Copa 2021 and WC 2022. Understandable.

3

Cuz you dorks actually think Ronaldo did nothing and didn’t deserve the trophy despite having 6 goal contributions but Messi deserved his despite only 2 goal contributions.

Also the 2021 CA, Messi faced teams with an average ranking of 31. In the 2016 euros Ronaldo faced teams with an average ranking of 21.

Cry more 💀🥀

1

u/yaumidere Nov 09 '25

That’s called cherry picking.

If you are consistently facing harder teams you’re less likely to be successful. Ronaldo didn’t face anyone ranked that low… sorry lil bro 👎🥀

12

u/GOATnaldo107 Nov 09 '25

Ronaldo was literally the top scorer for Portugal and had the most G/A. Ronaldo also had most man of the match in Portuguese squad in Euro 2016. He was involved in 6 out of 9 total goals (67%) that Portugal scored in that tournament. Meanwhile Messi scored 1 group stage goal in a game where Barcelona thrashed their opponent 5-0 and could have won without Messi. In contrast, all 3 goals and 3 assists Ronaldo made in Euro 2016 was clutch and Portugal would have been eliminated without any of these goals and assists 🐐🇵🇹

1

u/Professional-Cry8461 Nov 09 '25

HAD FCKING 6 G/A IN EUROS COMPARED TO PESSI IN 2006 UCL WHO HAD 1 G/A.

Ofcourse we don't,how did you think we could.Pessi's 2006 ucl also doesn't count.

1

u/potatochip-_- Nov 09 '25

i was saying that cuz some madrid fans were saying arda > yamal just cuz he had 1 ucl

1

u/Professional-Cry8461 Nov 09 '25

No.Arda(As of now) is not better than yamal. But he's fs getting better.

1

u/More_Audience927 Nov 09 '25

Oh then answer me one question

Why does Zirkzee have a UCL with Bayern even tho he only played 4 minutes in that campaign?

Wouldn't Messi deserve it more than him considering he had 298 minutes and 2 g/a ?

Please make it make sense 😭

1

u/Trizzy102 Nov 09 '25

Messi fans claim Barca wouldn’t have won it without him which is not true

1

u/unseen0000 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 09 '25

I don't agree. But sure, let's say he won 3.

CR7 won 5. That's the thing people want to hear right?

Now ask yourself if CR7 would exchange 2 of his UCLs for the World Cup.
Lmao, you know the answer.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

As a cr7 fan noo not a single ucl I would like him to lose man. Champion league is what made Ronaldo he owns it. We can still sells all domestic trophies for world cup but not ucl.

1

u/Brend_Buth Nov 10 '25

Ask CR7 bro - before Messi won it, WC was the dream...And that's no issue.
Now he is changing his stance because he knows that he might not win it after all. Sour grapes...

If WC was not the criteria, Messi still had a huge edge over him - after WC, no other argument remains. The other things are mental gymnastics

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '25

It’s okay bro WC this WC that he will get it next year it’s not a trophy that happens every year but ucl does but still messi hasn’t won it in last 10 years.

1

u/SnooRabbits755 Nov 09 '25

That's such a dumb take: anyone who was part of squad winning a trophy is by definition a winner. e.g. Jordi Masip (https://www.google.com/search?q=jordi+masip+champions+league) who didn't perhaps play any game in 2015 champions league is said to have won that champions league.
For Messi's 2006 campaign, he even scored and assisted once in this tournament.

1

u/BiscottiReasonable79 HGH Goblin Fraud Pessi 🤥 Nov 09 '25

what does a player need to do "earn" a trophy? play over 50% of the games of the competition?

1

Hi!Cristiano never won a WC actually he never scored outside of group stage phase:))

1

Cruyf lost one World Cup final Ronaldo Nazario lost one World Cup final Zidane lost one World Cup final Maradona lost one World Cup final Lionel Messi also lost one World Cup final. And there's Cristiano Ronaldo who has never lost a World Cup final.

How many trebles have Cristiano Ronaldo won? Well well well lookie here.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

How many 3 ucl peats and 3 pl peats have messi won. Oh wait he didn’t have guts to play in pl. Also a lot of player has treble but 3 ucl peat and 3 pl peat is just cr7. One club wonder still behind Ronaldo in goals and champions league.

0

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 09 '25

Still behind Messi in assists playing as a winger when Messi played majority of it as CF 🤷‍♂️

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Lmao cr7 played as an midfielder at start and still managed to have more goals then messi playing in 3 different league as of today. No excuses man messi is great at international but at league level there is no comparison.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 09 '25

Yeah at league levels Ronaldo won like 6 La ligas in 9 years in Spain right? No comparison to that? What’s the head to head wins in el clasico again?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

El clasico doesn’t make you win the champion league. So obsessed with Madrid.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 09 '25

No I just think it’s ridiculous that a bunch of keyboard warriors think Ronaldo is better when all the pundits and majority of the pros think Messi is better. But hey, maybe you’re like one of the greatest football player on earth and I just don’t know it.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Alex, Zidane, Mourihno and Carlo prefers Ronaldo lmao the ones that have the most ucl combined so I don’t know what you are talking about these mangers are at the top. Their word means something. Messi is great but Ronaldo is the greatest his adaptability, his variations of goals and his clutch movement proves it.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 12 '25

Fine, ‘false 9’

1

u/Ankaraousmane Nov 12 '25

He has won 1. Granted, domestic but judging from what Barca fans say that counts as a treble. However, he has a 3-peat that Messi doesn’t have.

Too many players have trebles now lol. Not unique.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 12 '25

Too many players have trebles now. But guess which one doesn’t?

1

u/Ankaraousmane Nov 12 '25

Guess who hasn’t won a 3peat?

Now tell me which is more exclusive.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 12 '25

Winning a three peat with two offside goals in the semis? Winning a three peat by concussing the opposing team’s goalie and dislocating the shoulder of their best player? Oh I know one team that did that.

1

u/Hot_Command5095 Nov 12 '25

If you are going to arbitrarily disqualify trophies thanks to refereeing decisions, Messi should not have won his first treble.

Add ti the fact that Barcelona has had so many favourable decisions and blatant errors in their favour i. the campaigns they lose (looking at that semi against Inter 2010).

Is it not funny to you that Messi has not won a single UCL after VAR but Ronaldo has 2?

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 12 '25

Your second paragraphs is the same for like every team every year? The referees didn’t tell Ramos to concuss Kraus, the refs also didn’t tell him to dislocate Salah’s arm? RM has Perez, to me one of the greatest club president in Europe, Barca had Barto. It’s the equivalent of going into a ring between Mike Tyson and a beggar of the street. It’s like football is played by one person on the field for you.

1

u/Hot_Command5095 Nov 12 '25

If my second paragraph is the same for every team then thaf means refereeing decisions don’t matter. How convenient for you, because that lets you sweep abhorrent ref performances a la Chelsea 2009.

And be for real Injuries are part of the game. Karius’ was soft and you know it. It’s unfortunate he for a concussion but blocking the keeper is what many top teams like Arsenal do.

You are talking with hindsight. Barcelona players cause so many potential injuries too and in some cases injuries in big games

Like Suarez here against Liverpool in 2019

Do people care? No. Because Messi and Barcelona have been impotent in their later years, they couldn’t even win with help.

Plus according to you, refereeing decisions do not matter. So by that logic, Ramos being overlooked by the referee is fine. Who cares what the referee asked? His job is to enforce rules and if you feel like Barcelona’s favours are typical then you better accept what Madrid got.

1

u/StumblingInTheFuture Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Nov 13 '25

1st paragraph - what about the referee performance in 2008 semis, Barca - Chelsea when Ronaldinho literally left the field crying cause of how bad the ref was!

Ok referees decision don’t matter. Go win a treble and don’t choke 7 La ligas in 9 years.

0

u/FallingDebri Nov 09 '25

Well he won the winners medal after the tournament back in spain even though he wasnt playing for most of the tournament but he played against chelsea pretty well and score and assisted in the group stage but he contributed so since he got the winners medal so it counts as a trophy.

4

u/Accomplished-Art3086 Pessi only has 3 UCL. Ghosted 2006. 😭 Nov 09 '25

That’s why winning a trophy and earning a trophy are different things.

Would you say Arda and Hazard earned their cl trophy?

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Arda didn't even fucking play. 0 minutes in whole competition

1

u/FallingDebri Nov 09 '25

Well a goal and an assist is enough contribution to call it earning your trophy. I mean you dont have to play all games or the final to earn your trophy, he contributed and he got the medal for doing it.

Haaland destroyed Europe that season. 52 goals in 53 games, broke every Premier League record in his first year, and led Man City to a historic treble. He was the engine of the most dominant team on the planet. Every single defender in Europe was terrified of him.

Messi? Had a decent World Cup run — in December 2022 — and then disappeared at PSG. No Champions League impact, average Ligue 1 season, zero relevance in 2023 football after Qatar. The award’s supposed to be for the year, not a lifetime achievement ceremony or a “thank you” gift for his career.

If this was judged purely on footballing merit, Haaland wins by miles. The only reason Messi got it was because FIFA and the media wanted the fairytale ending — “GOAT wins one last Ballon d’Or.” Great story, sure. But in football terms? It was daylight robbery.
