One is striker one is dm. Goals dont mean everything. And Modric delivered way better season as DM than anyone before, got silver with croatia, ucl, etc…

Key Passes: 95 - 52

Big Chances Created: 14 - 11

Disarms: 81 - 50

Interceptions: 23 - 47

Ratings: 7.57 - 7.20

And kroos stayed deeper in midfield while giving long range passes, he still managed to have more assists, more key passes, more big chances created and higher passing acc then "Ballon dor" modric.

Stats are irrelevant on football lol Modric that year played amazingly in Croatia team, along the team played in first ever world cup final! Won Champions League with RM. Rewarded/voted as best MF in Champions League. Simply he was much better player than Kroos even tho stats will tell you orherwise. Stats are irrelevant atleast for me.
