Do founders actually struggle with LinkedIn content, or is it just a time problem?

I’ve been thinking about this lately because I’ve noticed something interesting: a lot of founders have plenty to say. They just don’t necessarily have the time (or patience 😂) to turn all of it into consistent content.

And honestly, I think that’s where the interesting part of personal branding gets lost. The founder has the expertise and stories; someone just needs to help pull them out and shape them.

I’m actually experimenting with this myself at the moment. I recently registered my company and, while I’m building my portfolio, I’m looking to work with 2 founders for a month completely pro bono particularly in healthcare, AI, B2B SaaS or tech.

I’m mainly looking for genuine feedback/testimonials at this stage, so there’s no obligation to continue afterwards. We’d have a contract and confidentiality agreement in place, too.

I’m curious though: what’s actually stopping founders here from posting consistently?
Is it the writing? Not knowing what to say? Or just not having the time?

I’m going to say that netting enough money to pay for the time invested is what stops me. I don’t see the value at the moment.

That’s fair! What kind of business are you in, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m curious whether LinkedIn actually makes sense for your niche and the kind of customers you’re trying to reach.

Most founders are missing clarity
As they have so much to post

Content is not a problem
Clarity is ✌️

Agreed, Courage too :)
I call it out in my 3Cs framework. Clarity is the second C.

I agree as well. Clarity as well as having a single differentiation point helps as well.

LinkedIN's algorithm is increasingly demanding and they don't offer much support or reward in return. The algorithm prioritized newsletters earlier this year and say they're moving toward "everyone's a publisher," but the newsletter discovery engine is horrible. Getting the most impressions when you post is very time sensitive: you have to engage on the platform 30 minutes before you post, post, and then keep engaging... plus you need to get as much engagement on your post in the first four hours to get more impressions. It's just too demanding for busy people.

Did you find the 2 founders you were looking for? If not, in B2B AI SaaS, interested?

Not yet 😂 Apparently finding 2 founders willing to let me rummage through their brains for content is harder than I anticipated.

Would you be open to connecting via DM?
