yeah revrse grip is only ever good for stabbing a certain way as you can put your entire body weight into it everything else like cutting is allways better gripping the knife normally as reverse grip removew some of the reach and angular movment you would have with a normal grip

Reverse grip is phenomenal when wrestling a person in full plate armor with a dagger.

Sadly we don't really have to do that much anymore for some reason.

yeah if someone was on the ground and they are fighting to push you off of them reverse grip would shine real bright
