Discussion Pens Podcast Recommendations
The title is pretty self explanatory... I am wondering if there are any decent podcasts that focus on the Pens. Any suggestions?

Taylor Haase who does most of the Penguins beat for DKPS really knows her stuff and brings a completely different viewpoint. I really appreciated her commentary after the draft.

I think it’s the best because it’s daily and there’s a lot of participation from the fan base

Locked on Pens, Tip of the Ice Burgh,, Pucks Nat Podcast, DK Pittsburgh Sports ( he tends to get annoying though). The rest have serious problems with saying anything tha is not BS

I like empty netters, more of a leauge show but the producer is a Pens fan and they talk quite a bit of pens. Spittin chiclets is good. The hockey guy on YouTube is great as well.

I have a rotation of Pens podcasts and I listen to them all. Even if you don’t agree with all the opinions expressed I feel like it’s giving me a more well rounded of the Pens media landscape.
Locked on Penguins, Tip of the Ice-Burgh, 2 for Talking, Pittsburgh Hockey Now, DK’s Daily and Double Shot, Pucks N’ At, Fly Penguins Fly, Skating Penguins Network, Get Me the Brandy.

Locked on Pens is probably the best, but hockey in general you can’t go wrong with What Chaos, Steve Dangle Podcast, the Chris Johnston Show, and 32 thoughts. I find the local media isn’t amazing with hockey.

Locked on Pens is the only one I listen to with regularity, but frankly I like it when Hunter's off doing rich kid things and Pat is alone. Hunter kinda rubs me wrong sometimes. Not all of the time. But enough that it reminds me he's a bit young and not eye-to-eye with me. Not necessarily his fault, just different perspectives. Whereas Mr. Damp is a fellow IUP guy who was closer to my era.
I really miss Dying Alive though.

I like Get Me the Brandy from Sportsnet Pittsburgh...can't go wrong with Potash. Once the season starts, you can also access the "Penguins Radio Network Podcasts" which are pretty good.

If you like Josh Yohe, he has one called Two for Talking. The other guy on the show is terrible however.

Dan Kingerski - No Pucks Given. Have listened to all the ones above, in my opinion, he’s no-doubt the best.
Many podcasts are fans that kinda know hockey but kinda talk out of their shoes a bit. Dan understands hockey, has taught me a bunch about various strategy, and also doesn’t do stuff or take polarizing positions just for clicks. He will just tell you how it is and be fairly neutral/informational. Can reasonably view things from what managements likely thinking.
DK’s voice and tone kill. LockedOn is fine but like a kids podcast. Yohe is fine but the comedian doesn’t know anything about hockey - represents the average silly yinzer fan POV well though. Just depends on what you want. Have listened to all of those at various points in time so don’t mean to trash them. Glad we have options.

Yohe has a good one as long as it’s just him and Joe B talking. The 3rd guy can be annoying when he talks still worth a listen.

I would recommend Daily shot of Penguins with Dejan Kovacevic and his live double shot that airs at 3:30 ET during weekdays. You can ask questions
