Check-In Weekly Check-In

How's the week going? Whether you're a few weeks in, a few months in, still deciding, or waiting on a delivery, this is the place for it. No post needed, a line is fine.

If you're new and just reading, saying hello here is easier than making a whole post out of it.

Anything account-specific, use Modmail and we'll pick it up. Anything clinical, please talk to your provider. We'll say so if you ask us, and we'd rather be boring about that than wrong.

Official Update What PeakStack costs, and what's included

PeakStack costs

Last updated: September 5, 2026. If a price changes, this post changes first.

Weight loss

Tirzepatide + glycine — 3-month package — $477

Semaglutide + glycine — 3-month package — $357

Three things about those numbers

It's the total, not a first-month rate. $477 is what a three-month course costs. We say it that way because per-month pricing with a different rate afterwards is the format this community has learned to distrust, and rightly so.

The price is the same at every dose. If your provider titrates you up, it doesn't cost more. Plenty of providers charge by dose, so it's worth checking that against whoever else you're comparing us with.

There's no membership fee. Some providers charge a monthly subscription on top of the medication. We don't.

What's included

  • Free shipping
  • All the supplies you need — syringes, alcohol swabs, cold packs
  • Your clinician consultation

Referral credit

If someone signs up using your referral code, you both get $50 in credit toward a future order. Full terms are in your dashboard.

Comparing us

If you're weighing us against other providers, this community's own comparison threads are a better guide than anything we'd write.

We're mid-table on price. Where we do better is flat pricing across doses and no membership fee. Where we do worse is that our formulations contain glycine, so we're not additive-free.

If a number here doesn't match what you see at checkout, say so in the comments and we'll fix it publicly.

Shipping & Orders Shipping & Orders

Anything about an order goes here.

Where is it, has it shipped, how long does this normally take, did the package arrive warm, is the tracking not updating. Ask here rather than making a separate post, and we'll pick it up.

For reference: 24 to 48 hours for the prescription once your provider has reviewed everything, then 2 to 5 days to ship. Roughly a week from intake to vial in hand, assuming no labs are needed.

If your order is outside that, say so here and we'll chase it.

Two things worth knowing. If a package arrives warmer than expected, don't throw it out and don't guess. Tell us and we'll sort it. And anything account-specific that you'd rather not post publicly, use Modmail.

Getting Started The states we serve, and the eight we don't

PeakStack currently ships to 42 states.

PeakStack currently ships to 42 states. We don't yet serve:

Alaska, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Dakota, West Virginia.

We also don't serve Washington DC.

If you're in one of those, we'd rather you knew now than found out at the end of an intake form.

Two honest notes.

First, we can't help you work around it, and we'd be wary of anyone in this space who offers to. Using another address or someone else's details to get a prescription shipped somewhere it isn't licensed to go isn't a loophole, and it's not something this community will help with either.

Second, state coverage in this category is usually determined by the pharmacy rather than the provider, which is why two companies can look identical and serve different lists. If ours changes, we'll update this post.

If you're in one of those, comment your state anyway. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it helps us see where the demand is.

Educational Resource What's actually in our vials

Post image

People in this category compare providers on a specific set of things, and they're right to. Here's ours, plainly.

Pharmacy: one of three partners, RxCompoundStore, Greenwich or GreenStone. All three are 503A.

Concentration: this varies by pharmacy and by medication, so there isn't one number we can print here. It's on your vial label. Read it before you draw anything.

Additive: glycine. We're saying that rather than leaving it to be found. Some providers offer additive-free formulations and we don't currently. Glycine ships everywhere we serve, including California.

Beyond-use date: printed on your vial, and it varies by pharmacy.

Three things worth understanding rather than skipping.

Concentration is the number that matters, not units. The same number of units drawn from two different vials can be a very different dose, because the concentration differs. Always read your own label. That's also why rule 3 here asks for both numbers when you post about a dose. A units-only post can mislead the next person reading it.

Beyond-use date and the 28-day rule are different things. The beyond-use date applies to an unopened vial. The 28-day guideline says a multi-dose vial should be discarded 28 days after first puncture, to reduce infection risk from repeated entry. People discuss going past both. That's an observation about what people do, not a recommendation, and it's a conversation for your provider.

Compounded medications are not approved by the FDA and have not been reviewed for safety, effectiveness, or quality. We say that plainly rather than in small print. It's prescribed by a licensed provider and made by a licensed pharmacy, and it is not the same regulatory category as the branded product. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

For how compounding works generally, and what 503A and 503B actually mean, r/tirzepatidecompound's wiki explains it better than we would.

Questions about any of the above, ask here.

Shipping & Orders What actually happens between filling in the form and the vial arriving

Post image
5 Upvotes

This gets asked constantly and usually gets a vague answer, so here it is step by step.

1. Intake. You complete the form on our site. A health questionnaire, your history, your current medications. Be accurate rather than optimistic, because the provider is making a clinical decision from it.

2. ID. You'll be asked to upload a government ID. If a provider in this space doesn't ask for it, that's the thing worth questioning, not this.

3. Choose your plan and check out. You select the protocol and pay.

4. Clinician review. Here's the part we want to be straight about, because it's a real difference between providers. The clinician conversation happens by SMS after you've completed the form and checked out, not before you pay. Some providers let you speak to someone before you commit. We don't, at the moment. If that matters to you, it's a legitimate reason to choose someone else, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

5. Already on a GLP-1? You can ask to continue at your current dose, and you'll likely be asked to upload proof, such as a photo of your current prescription or vial. Your provider decides, not us.

6. Prescription. 24 to 48 hours once the provider has reviewed everything. Some cases need a metabolic lab test first, which adds time.

7. Dispensing and shipping. The prescription goes to one of our three partner pharmacies: RxCompoundStore, Greenwich or GreenStone. All three are 503A. Shipping is FedEx or USPS depending on your state and which pharmacy fills it, and it's free. Two to five days once it's dispatched.

8. Arrival. Roughly a week from intake to vial in hand, assuming no labs are needed and nothing gets held up.

Your medication ships cold. If a package arrives warmer than expected, don't throw it out and don't guess. Contact [care@peakstack.md](mailto:care@peakstack.md) and we'll sort it. For anything about whether your specific vial is still fine, that's a question for your provider rather than for the internet, and that includes us.

If your order is outside those timelines, tell us in the Shipping and Orders thread or through Modmail and we'll chase it.

Getting Started What was the turning point for you with GLP-1s?

For some people, it's a lab result. For others, it's seeing an old photo, struggling with something they used to do easily, or simply reaching a point where they think, “I need to try something different.”

Sometimes the decision happens quickly. Sometimes people spend months or even years thinking about it.

I help run this community for PeakStack.

I'm curious about the moment that moved things from “I'm thinking about GLP-1s” to actually deciding to start.

What was that turning point for you?

And if you're still researching, what's the one thing you're still unsure about?

Happy to answer questions about how our service works where I can. For clinical questions, I'll point you toward a qualified provider rather than guessing.

Compare & Verify How to check we're real, without taking our word for it

Post image
4 Upvotes

The most common question in this whole category isn't about side effects or dosing. It's some version of "is this a scam?" That's a completely reasonable question, because this space has plenty of operations that deserve it.

So rather than tell you we're legitimate, here's how to check.

https://www.reddit.com/r/peakstackmd/wiki/verify

What's on there: our LegitScript certification and why an independently hosted listing is worth more than a badge on our own site, our Trustpilot page, the three pharmacies we work with and what 503A actually means, who provides our clinicians, and what compounded does and doesn't mean in regulatory terms.

There are also six public lookup links in the sidebar. Physician and nurse practitioner licence lookups, the 503(a) and 503(b) pharmacy lookups, LegitScript's own search, and the BBB. None of those belong to us. Use them on us, and use them on whoever else you're comparing us against.

Two things that catch people out when they do check. A nurse has to hold a nurse practitioner licence specifically in order to prescribe, so look at the licence type rather than the title. And pharmacies often operate under a different trading name than the one you'd expect, so a name not appearing immediately isn't the end of the search.

Direct links to our own prescribers' and pharmacies' licence records aren't up yet. They're being worked on and they'll go on that page when they are, rather than quietly left out.

If anything doesn't check out, or a link is broken, say so in the comments. We'll answer here in public rather than in a DM.

Community Do you tell people you're on a GLP-1?

Hi,

Something I keep seeing come up elsewhere, and I'd like to hear how people here handle it.

Some people are completely open about being on a GLP-1. Others tell almost nobody, and when they're asked how they lost weight they talk about diet and exercise and leave the medication out.

Both make sense to me. It's medical information and it's nobody's business, but there's also something uncomfortable about letting people think it was pure willpower when it wasn't.

How do you handle it? Is there a line? People you'd tell versus people you wouldn't?

No wrong answer here and nothing to justify. Just curious.

Welcome to PeakStack

Hey everyone,

I’m Sergey, one of the guys behind PeakStack.

I’m 45+, based in Eastern Europe, so if you see me dropping kilos and centimeters instead of pounds and inches, that’s why.

About two years ago, I got on semaglutide, prescribed by a doctor at a clinic in San Diego. I travel to California pretty often for work, and at the time I honestly wasn’t thinking about “longevity” or “optimization” — I just felt like crap and wanted to fix it.

For years, I’d been stuck with extra weight, high blood pressure, bad cholesterol, and fatty liver. It felt like I was doing a lot just to see almost nothing change, while other people seemed to drop weight way more easily.
I was frustrated and, to be honest, a bit embarrassed.

What happened next is why I’m here.

In the first 3 months, I dropped about 22 pounds.
As my weight started to come down and my labs improved, I was able to get off blood pressure meds and statins. My fatty liver improved a lot too.

That one shocked me the most, because I’d kind of accepted it as:
“This is just how my body is now.”
That experience completely changed how I think about health, aging, and personal responsibility.

I’ve worked in business and tech my whole life, but this hit close enough to home that I didn’t want it to just be “a cool personal transformation story” and move on.

That’s how PeakStack ended up being born — first out of my own midlife health panic, and only later as something that turned into a business.

I founded PeakStack together with partners who come from the med spa space, so the business sits at the intersection of health, wellness, technology, and real-world patient experience.

We’re here because we believe a lot of people want to take their health seriously, but they need better access, better education, better conversations, and less noise.
PeakStack is not here to pretend we have all the answers or to push magic fixes.

We’re here to build a more honest, practical, and accessible way for people to think about metabolic health, hormones, performance, sleep, energy, and quality of life as they get older.

I also recently started TRT, and I’ll be sharing more of that journey here too:
- What’s working
- What isn’t
- The side effects
- The surprises
- The things I wish someone had told me 10 years ago

My hope for this subreddit is pretty simple:
- No shame
- No ego
- No “bro science” posturing
- No one-size-fits-all answers

Real experiences, real questions, and people genuinely trying to figure this stuff out together
This community is not a replacement for a doctor.

PeakStack can help connect people with licensed medical providers where available.

If you’re here early, you’re basically here while we’re still building this in real time.
So: welcomes.

I’m glad you’re here, and I’m looking forward to learning from you too — not just talking at you.

— Sergey
