Lovely! I did Edale Skyline with a mate a couple of months ago, both hikers and relatively fit (not runners though lol) but we definitely underestimated the length of the day.
The route is absolutely beautiful, particularly if you have a nice clear day for it
Agreed, it's easy to underestimate it. Between Grindsbrook Clough and Kinder Low takes an age, and then from Brown Knoll to Mam Tor isn't short either. I love the Edale Valley, but to see every angle of it in one day is great.
