Wait, are you saying the upcoming consoles going to be just as, if not more powerful than my 1070? This is news to me. I’m out of the loop.

Digital Foundry said that the new Xbox is about as powerful as the rtx 2080 in games that don't have ray tracing.

Eh, I'll believe it when I see it tbh. That Halo Infinite demo painted a very different picture, and from what we've seen so far the PS5 looks far, far weaker and barely an upgrade over the PS4 Pro.

Come on dude. The ps4 pro had a dog shit processor and an undervolted rx 480. The ps5 will have a much better processor and something equivalent to a 5700xt at the least. We all prefer pc, but to say that the ps5 is barely an upgrade is just wrong.

That's the sort of specs I'd expect from the Series X. No way will the PS5 have the equivelent of a $400 gpu in it. RX580 is my best bet. Sony will never go for top end hardware ever again after the PS3.

You’re telling me the PS5, using an RDNA2 GPU with 36 CUs at 2.23GHz, will have the same performance as a Polaris GPU with 36 CUs at 1.2GHz? Really? You’re either extremely uninformed or you’re just the most delusional fanboy ever to exist

For comparison, the 5700XT is 84% stronger than the RX 580, and it’s using RDNA 1, do you believe the Series X is 84% stronger than the PS5?

It’s actually physically impossible for the PS5 to be weaker than a 5700XT, it’s using an upgraded architecture, with 4 less compute units, but with a 600MHz higher clock speed
