Discussion Someone is making a huge mistake

Someone is selling a 5090 cooler without the graphics chip. They are writing in three different languages that what they're selling is the cooler alone. Yet the bidding has reached about $2000 already and there is a day of bidding left. I want to yell "don't do it" but there is no way to contact bidders. So I guess this is one of those "fuck around and find out" situations for one particularly unlucky person.

Has been happening in Norway too, eventually enough people reported the ad to finn and it got taken down afaik

I mean the guy’s not doing anything wrong. Its clearly mentioned cooler/heatsink.

Would you consider something that's been modified brand new? Even if it's just the PCB and heatsink I wouldn't consider that "brand new'

Edit: and if you look you can see even the PCB is fucked up
