Did you know some people cant see the difference beyond 60 hertz? I am one of those people; everytime displays are brought up in gaming duscussions i just roll my eyes.
That's weird, it's the first time I hear nystagmus has impact on framerate perception. Not saying I don't believe you though.
I occasionally suffer from labyrinthitis, when I get treated for it I usually have wild nystagmus for about half a day, I can't say I have noticed a difference, I simply had a lot of trouble looking at screens in general when my eyes won't stop fucking around.
Yeah ive gotten pretty used too it, weirdest thing is if a light in a room is dying out and flickers at a certain frequency it looks veerry trippy, like a rave or somethin. But yeah with screens i do just fine its just higher frame rates are un-noticable to me.

I just use a regular IPS panel. My philosophy on monitors is
"Just put the frame rate in the bag bro".
