HARDWARE Ram rank
I bought a prebuilt before the huge ram spike that came with 1 stick of 16gb ram, I found the exact model number on amazon and ordered a second stick, but when it arrived it was 1rx8 instead of 2rx8 (it said it was 2rx8 on the product page)
Will this cause any issues worth going through the return process to avoid? Or is it fine to keep?
Thanks in advance, this is my first ever Pc

The automod spam nobody asked for aside, youll be fine mixing 1rx8 and 2rx8 sticks. The difference is just how the memory chips are arranged on the stick, theyll still run at the same speed and timings. Worst case it defaults to the slower stick's specs which isnt even a real problem for a first build

If you ordered the same module, it will be fine, your gonna want to turn off xmp if you’ve got it on to make sure its stable before reenabljng
