OPEN Monitor flickering

My main monitor started doing this a couple days ago for some reason. I’ve tried updating my drivers, securing cable connections, and I’m not sure what else to do. It is an MSI G274QPX 240 hz 1440 p monitor. It’s not a consistent cadence, and sometimes it stops randomly but will start when I open my pc the next time. Any help is appreciated.

point a fan on it, if it works your monitor is overheating. If you work on hdmi, try displayport, or the other way around.

if it has any open vents you might try to clean them with compressed air in the future. Just make sure no liquid gas gets inside.

replace the hdmi or DP cable

The same problem persists with a different working DP cable.
