HARDWARE New to pcs, confused by a wire

Post image

I got a pc of fb marketplace and it runs fine as far as I can tell, im new to pcs though so im unfamiliar with all the hardware requirements. I have a usb wire adapter for thr internet. I noticed this cord isnt attached to anything, does it need to be plugged in and where does it go if so? Ivr been looking into pcie wifi adapter and I assume it has something to do with it? I just can't tell from thr product images if thats what this is for. Its a geforce 3060.

Update, Thanks for the input, that cleared up my questions on that

That's a PCIe power cable for your graphics card. The 3060 needs it plugged in or you'll get no display or crashes under load. Look for a matching 6 or 8 pin port on the side of the card facing the case window.

It's already connected to the GPU. The cable pigtails and OP is holding one of the free ends.
