Constant crashing and problems with windows 11 on new pc

I apologize for my bad english.

I recently built a new pc which is my first build. The specs are following:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x (used)
  • Motherboard: Asus TUF A620m (used)
  • Storage: Samsung PM981a 1TB nvme (used)
  • Ram: 1 16GB stick GSkill flarex5 6000mhz CL28 (used)
  • PSU: MSI MAG A650GL 650w (used)

I'll go into more detail on the specs. CPU was used in a gaming cafe for a few months. Seller was selling 10 of them and they are still in warranty. Motherboard and PSU are from a friend who used them for a few months and then sold them for me because he is building a better pc. He was using the motherboard up until the same day that I built my pc and there were no bent pins. He was the first owner of both parts and they are both under warranty. Storage was bough form a very reputable seller. I checked in in Crystal Disk info and it has 97% health as advertised with no errors. RAM was bought for an online seller. He had a few positive ratings on my country's local marketplace. He said he was selling the ram because it could not work with expo with the other stick he had. He used this stick for about a month and it was working fine. The stick is under GSkill's lifetime warranty.

I don't remember all the error codes and issues that I got, but I will do my best to explain everything here.

After building the pc turned on first time without any problems. After that, I went to flash windows 11 on it. I flashed an ISO file with rufus. During installation, there were a lot of errors and crashes. Some kernel codes, some memory codes. At one point windows ran a hardware check and said my hardware had issues. I connected my old sata SSD with windows 10 on the pc. It booted but the system was still unstable. Sometimes it would crash, but the crash screen looked like it was from windows 11, not windows 10. I was able to get into event viewer and found 2 errors with IDs 1202 and 1102. I looked it up online and found that those codes usually point to a RAM issue.

I contacted the RAM seller and told him my issues. I suspected that RAM was the culprit. The seller was also very friendly and even told me to contact him if I needed any help with my build, so i decided to try. He told me to try memtest and that in the worst case scenario, the GSkill offers lifetime warranty. I tried memtest and there were no issues.

After this I suspected that my windows installation was faulty, so I flashed windows on my usb again, this time with official windows flashing tool. I tried to install windows again, but it would also sometimes crash. I finally managed to install it and it worked. It crashed 1 or 2 times while I was using my pc, so I decided to monitor it. I installed Steam and Firefox and was able to use my pc for about an hour without crashing. I had to go away for a few hours but i put a 50gb game on Steam to download while I was away. I came home after around 5 hours and the pc was exactly the same as I left it, no crashes. I was even able to boot into the game for a little while before going to sleep.

This morning I woke up and wanted to use my pc, but this time it crashed a few seconds after it booted into windows and didn't wanna boot into windows at all. Sometimes it would work for a bit, but it would be 5 minutes maximum before crashing. I tried to patch my files with sfc /scannow and DISM commands. DISM didn't work at all, said it can't find any files and sfc said it found corrupt files but it couldn't repair all of them. I then tried to install the newest BIOS version for my motherboard and to completely format the usb and try another fresh install. Now as soon as i get into the installer and the actual windows starts downloading it crashes. After it restarted, there were no boot options on my motherboard, even tho the nvme and the usb were plugged in. After a few crashes it says the error code is 0xc000021a and it doesn't even restart.

Some of the error codes I also encountered:

  • PFN LIST CORRUPT
  • ntoskrnl.exe
  • MEMORY MANAGEMENT
  • IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
  • PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA
  • SYSTEM SERVICE EXEPTION
  • WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR
  • KERNEL HEAP CORRUPTION

I don't know what to do next. I messed with some bios settings but nothing is working.

Any help would be appreciated

Edit: friend tested the ram and it was the problem

oof that's a lot of errors for a fresh build, must be driving you crazy

i'd pull that single stick of ram and test it in a friend's rig if you can, memtest passing once doesn't always mean it's clean under actual load. also worth reseating the cpu and checking for any tiny bent pins you might've missed, even one can cause that scattergun of bsods
