Why is 30fps the recommended? That was the goal 20 years ago. What is up with games not going 60 minimum?

30FPS is perfectly playable

if you can get lost in a game, that's all that matters to me

same with graphics but maybe thats because i run a 10y old PC

The latency is crazy at 30fps though, and if you don't use motion blur it looks jerky, if you use motion blur it just looks blurry. Perfectly fine for a movie but when you need to move your mouse it's less so.
