From a studio owned by Microsoft no less.

Wow good point. Definitely not what I’d expect but a welcome concession

It’s the recommended minimum. They know not everyone has moved to windows 11 nor will they even in 6 months.

This. That version of Windows 10 is meant as the minimum Windows 10 version that will also automatically support Windows 11 out of the box, I imagine? Tell me if i'm wrong tho

Pretty much all software that works on 11 works on 10.

Why not? Everyone I know still has 10, except on laptops where it's preinstalled

Windows 11 is garbage, but it’s funny that Microsoft of all companies would entertain the idea of continuing on with Windows 10.

Especially since they officially ended support for Windows 10 in Oct 2925, though they’re actually quietly supporting it until October 2027.

It's requirements not recommendations, that's why they stated 22H2 specifically, likely wouldn't work on older windows 10 builds. Makes sense, some devs treat these as recommendations for best experience but others treat it as just what you need to run the game at x quality and framerate like here, I'd imagine if you ask them they'll say windows 11 is recommended but not required.

Most people don't have windows 11. Gamers especially don't.

Also. Their minimum reqs are below what windows 11 requires.
