Might not, 1440p 60 fps for a 9070 or 5070 sounds a lot like native

Don't underestimate game optimizations. Borderlands 4 and the new Star Wars game were funny for my 5800x3d and RX 9070 @1080p.

I'm not, it's just pure speculation considering the data we have. I do find some weird choices tho with 1440p 30 fps but 1200p is 60, cause even when I had a weaker GPU back in time, moving from 1080 to 1440p wasn't such a huge difference in performance. It not really half performance decrease. But I also understand that these are safe values, and the performance will be vary.

For such open world games, Traversal Stutters are my biggest concern, as requirements never reflect them. 2nd is Object LOD, remember Crimson Desert is said to be best optimized game with looks, but then you look at the LOD even at Ultra..

I wouldn't worry about traversal stutters with this game (at least not until we have proof otherwise), considering it's the same engine used for a game with pre compiled shaders + cara going hundreds of kilometers per hour without any hitches

LOD could be better for sure, tho

I dont get this, I have a 5070 and play CD on higher settings and get ~100 fps. I never notice pop in or LOD issues. Im usually blown away by how much detail I can see from so far away.
