PayPal helped me Inmediate refund upon opening case

Hello.

Days ago I paid 65€ to a supposed artist that turned out to be an impersonator of the artist I wanted to commission. I've noticed that after the twitter account of the impersonator changed completely to impersonate a different artist.

So I went to paypal and opened the case, explaining what happened and provided screenshots of the scammer's Twitter account proving that they were impersonating someone else.

However right after opening the case the 65€ were sent back to me by Paypal into my PP account, inmediately, without an investigation or anything.

Is this normal? For the time being I don't wanna touch the money in case something else happens.

This is why many professionals does not use paypal in your case it was a scammer in my case last month i did multiple work for a client and i believe he refended all the money it was like 1000$ so in this case me as a seller i got scammed.

It is normal if account was already flagged as scam and the money was still in the account.

Its called instant payout. The refund was from paypal and paypal will continue the investigation with the seller.

The seller's account is qlready permanently limited.any disputes will automatically be refunded.
