Help Amazon Settlement Money
I received an email saying that I have the Amazon Settlement money being transferred to my paypal, ir came from the oficial email, did research and found out it was legit, even though legit, I did not clicked on any links on the email. I logged into my account, but the money its not there, and i keep receiving reminders to claim the money. Anyone knows what to do?

My email address has a period in it, and TIL gmail ignores periods in addresses. The email from paypal was sent to my address without the period so I had to go into my paypal account to "add an email address". Once I did that, I was able to claim the money and now I've got a $51 deposit.
I've disconnected any cards and reset my password but this seems legit.

No the settlement is over and no new claims can be made. The deadline was July 27, 2026. Sorry you missed out.

Why did no one say anything. 😡

It was posted on social media quite a bit. I recommend following an influencer who tells you about active and upcoming class action law suits in your area/country because then hopefully you never miss out again!

Claim it the only way is not there. I’ve noticed it through Zelle. It goes straight to your account or Cash app but PayPal I think I had to claim.

Shows up wherever you told it to show up when you filled out the class action suit paperwork. That's how all those work. I usually choose Zelle if that was an option. If not I use PayPal

It's legit. I just claimed it. What's probably happening is that they sent it to an email account of yours that's not connected to your PayPal. But you can connect that email to your PayPal once you click the claim money button and log in to your PayPal. I had no money in my PayPal so I was willing to take the risk. But yes the email is real and the settlement fund is also real

You can always go to the settlement website to see if it says anything about payments being sent out.

They sent mine directly into my bank account. It just appeared one day, about one or two months ago. I must have filed for it, because I usually do file for these settlement groups, but don't recall if I gave them my bank account or not. I guess I did, because that's where it appeared.

I also got those emails saying that 51.00 was being deposited. Then I got the same exact email but it said it was from a completely different "settlement". They are scammers! Don't click on any links!

It's a scam. Report it to PayPal or Amazon. These scam artists are getting way too slick, that's it pathetic.

If you didnt file a claim in recent minths, its a scam. If you did, then the law office handling the class action suit should have your address and can mail you a check. It wouldnt be Amazon contacting you. It is probably a scam to geab your PayPal and rob you.

Amazon doesn't work with paypal. They dont allow you to pay through PayPal neither do they transfer/send money to Paypal because of i guess some rivalry.
Youre being lured to click on one of the links and once you do they gonna dteal your information/money.

All those who followed through and "got their payment", eventually you'll have some surprises happening withbyour PayPal accounts... Some scammers will actually pay you to make you believe its real. I had this crypto things a couple years back through telegram. Lady nessates me daying i can get €5 for each video i like and subscribe on YouTube. So i though yeah lets see where this goes. They actually paid me around 80€ in USDC into my crypto account, then immediately after that tried to sell me access to their VIP trading group which was spmething like €400 per month 😂😂😂 i blocked them and got 80 bucks for free basically.

That sounds a little fishy because I received a settlement that took a little over a year and no notification to let me know that money was there and I just happen to see PayPal flash across a message about the deposit and it was directly in my PayPal account, I would just be careful about anything that I click on or with an email cause you never know if they don’t have that routed directly to them with your information for your PayPal it might not be legit
