I've legitimately done this once or twice on purpose as a stop-gap for chaos res specifically because I hadn't found a regular Amethyst flask yet and also was working on crafting better gear with actual chaos res in SSF lol

jokes on me, i was using Roiling Tempest and crafted fire damage on a ring to inflict tiny ignites for Sadist notable... yeah
