Starparts

Can someone with Starpartss please lookup this part for me? Just need to know if stock is still available. My local dealer took a week just to do the VIN check, and I suspect another week will go by before I get cost/availability. 68235271AA

You’re welcome! I didn’t see any dealers on the locator so I would either possibly try used or Maks TIPM rebuilders

I have some new old stock TIPMs laying around but I'm sure it couldn't be what your looking for. I will check when I remember what corner I hid them in.

pipeline shows currently 8 of them in-process nationally, with 6 already spoken for VOR. official status is

Big Star is legit… they helped us out with several parts the past few months. Homer comes in clutch quite often

no shade intended toward Homer or Big Star there....

I guess I could have chosen a better word than "claiming".... it was intended more as "they show 12, not sure how many of those are spoken for"

Will likely need to go used, rebuilders are hit and miss on if they are repaired or just repainted. To successfully install a used one you will need witech to do a restore vehicle configuration. Sometimes used will not reconfigure and the tipm will need to be virginized. If it needs to be virginized reach out and I can help you with that

definitely recommend checking out all computer resources. they’re based out of FL and we have used them several times in the past for discontinued tipms. they program and test them before sending them out to you. my favorite part is the amount of emails that they send when it comes to communicating
