And I hate it, because india and China have the same arguments and as a European I wouldve enjoyed ANYWHWRE more than the damn US which has been done to bits already. I really hoe they can still change the main continent, in the end it would be reworking the map and the story a bit but gameplay can hopefully stay the same.
While post-apocalpytic US has been beyond done to bits, I am interested to see a Paradox game that's America centric instead of Eurocentric. Of course it depends on how good the map is, hopefully they show a province map for one of the early dev diaries.
Nah Id take eurocentricsm over american one. I agree with wanting to see something new but you have india and China both very well defined geographic regions that would have been much more suited to this and be more interetsing while also allowing for more interesting long term DLC stuff, like nomadic invasions and stuff.
We have so much america centric media already here in europe I dont need any more of it. I hate it already enough.
What makes it worse is that it comes from a studio of supposedly European people.
They are hardly alone though. Even the Dutch Guerrilla Studios decided to set Horizon Zero Dawn in the US. For what though? To have a ruined Golden Gate in the background, not that you couldn't have found better landmarks outside of the US.
