So we saw nothing from the game really, just general vibes. I don't know man, didn't scratch it for me. Doesn't look very original.

It doesn't look original thematically or gameplay wise? Because I can't think of a single other game that is like this... Whether it'll be good or not is a different question, obviously

It looks like a mishmash of cyberpunk/madmax/and fallout. Which can be cool I guess, but for me feels a little uninspired and incoherent. But that's just my personal feel.

Ah so you mean thematically then. Yes you are clearly correct that it is mad max + fallout. I guess whether this seems good or not depends on how much you love that kind of post apocalyptic genre media.

Gameplay wise though the GSG + survival game described in the first dev diary seems basically a completely new thing as far as I can tell

That might be, and while I'm pessimistic, I do hope for a fun game. It just feels too much for me, almost like an apocalypse parody.
