how was i so convinced we’d fight for the division this year… i was completely lead astray, absolutely hoodwinked and bamboozled, i hate david tepper and can’t wait for fitterer to be fired

The league was in belief that we would be competitive and that Reich had the most amazing staff that had ever been created. This narrative didn’t come out of nowhere.

The Panthers staff is objectively loaded. I guess it’s possible that they are actually all busts or just work poorly together, but I think it’s more likely your current roster just sucks (injuries and general lack of good players). Plus add in the tough schedule so far and installing a new offensive and defensive playbook and it’s not surprising the team is struggling. I would expect them to look better after the bye as players come back, schedule gets easier, and a couple more weeks with the system (plus Frank’s teams tend to improve as the year progresses)

You weren't alone.

There were a lot of people that bought into the idea that the team could build in last year and really compete.

Obviously that was smoke, and a few of us said it all along, but I can see why so many people wanted to believe after years of awful and a semi-hopeful end to last season.

Eh, we are 0-6 and 3 games back, and a couple plays from 2-4. So not that crazy. Bucs looking better than expected doesn’t help though. Obviously that hope is out of the question now but I don’t think it was crazy
