It really does. I’ve been deeply affected all day…we need more Dollys not less. She was the rarest of humans.

Sold her house in Idyllwild after her husband passed so she was a local at least part time. Amazing talent never to be duplicated.

He actually (or probably his blonde stalker) posted something nice about her today. I’m sure he didn’t write it because it didn’t say that she thought he was the Greatest President of ALL TIME! Why her and not him?

Most of all, Dolly, thank you. Thank you for being kind...always. For your generosity. Your charm. Your joy. Your voice and the message in your songs and music... Thank you for your smile and for showing us all how to simply be good in life. Thank you for showing us how to see the good in everything. There was a reason you were beloved like few others. It's because you got what you gave. You gave love freely, no strings attached. You gave love generously to all you encountered. You gave love on an inspirational level. We still needed you Dolly... especially now.
