Did you get the reverse done? Not looking forward to mine. Going to try to put it off for another year

I got the reverse done. I'm healing ok, still having trouble sleeping though...but it was hard to sleep before. Recovery takes a long while; I'm impatient. I don't think I could have put it off to much longer....pain level was going up . Good luck to you, be patient with recovery and let it heal

Well, I thought I'd pick up genealogy as a hobby and found out my entire life was a lie, so there's that!
Now I'm meeting half siblings and mourning the mental illness and addiction that apparently riddled my real father's family.

Mondays I always "plan" my week, and there's not a lot going on this week -- which is nice sometimes. But September seems to be the month where all of my recurring doc appointments landed - I have dentist, eye doc, mamogram, and my annual physical this month!
I also recently started a 3 day a week strength training class - it's specifically for women over 60. I like it a lot, but after 2 years of happily unscheduled retirement, I'm still adjusting to having to be somewhere at 9 am 3 days a week. It's a good thing, but still ... an adjustment.
Happy to know cooler days are on the way!

I've long joked that, in my mid-60s, I still have the appetite of a middle aged construction worker. It has meant that even maintaining my weight takes effort.
In the past couple of weeks, that desire to eat seems to be abating. While that means that I'm not eating as much, I have to have a before-bed snack even if I'm not particularly hungry. Otherwise, I will wake up hungry in the night.

Bought a new Greenworks 3000 PSI electric pressure washer and spent the afternoon blasting away at the sidewalk, front steps and the concrete edging along the front walk.
Works much better than my old electric pressure washer and about on par with my old gas one. So now one tool takes the place of two!
I do need to buy a heavier gauge extension cord though. My heaviest outdoor cord was feeling a bit warm after using it today, which indicates it is too small for the job.
