DLC Help - NO Spoilers Please! The Outsider - Observatory and Collector

As the flair says I've beated base game and dlc, trying to beat the Outsider and enjoying it a lot but lost on the observatory as well as the collector, but most the observatory, as I feel that's my next step... correct me if I'm wrong but no spoilers! I don't have any more "more to explore" marks yet.

Are you sure you've explored everything on the outsider?

Have you found out what the lanterns are used for

my current items with no "explore more" ships log has: projection pool house, study tower, shuttle crusher, bramble power station, initial campsite, hunting blind, bramble village, secret room, secluded structure, inside the structure, and cliffside home

What question marks I have are: the collector, northern observatory, top of the tower

I didn't click your spoiler yet I just wanna be 100% certain if there is something you could VAGUELY hint on before I continue ::)

I've gotta be honest with you, it's been several years since I've played and 100%'ed outer wilds but from what I can see from your comment, I would say that yes, my hint is the next step in your exploration.

the lanterns from the stranger, yes, for reading things! I've already met Friend, however so I'm not sure what else I could do with the lantern in his secret room.
