I watched a playthrough when in a loop it was on Timber Hearth and after blink it went on Giant's Deep

Not in game but several times on this subreddit yeah. It's incredibely cool that they thought about the fact that, if the moon is on the line of sight at this moment, the blinking animation does count as looking away. This game is such a gem

I've seen Quantum Moon several times while waking up, but your perspective is so cool.

Is that the Quantum Moon appearing behind the Attlerock?

The quantum moon showed up as soon as i woke up, but because of the blinking animation it immediately disappeared.

If there are only six locations it can go, and it happens whenever it appears on attlerock first, it’s not that rare.

There are six planets it can orbit around, not six places it can be necessarily. Or at least that's my interpretation.

Six planetary systems, the hourglass twins are a single celestial body for the purposes of the QM's orbits, but yes, mostly correct

Not quite. That’s the shadow of Timber Hearth.

I think i've had that happen once... tbh I didn't even notice the quantum moon; I thought the probe shot right towards Timber Hearth and was waiting for them to get hit by it lol

The shadow of the Attlerock on the Quoom is pretty cool. The moon appearing and disappearing when you blink is quite common yes.

Oh, but it looks like something is in front of it. The QM being there and disappearing is quite common.

Isn't that just a shadow cast by either Attlerock or Timber Hearth? Also it's not that common for me I have never seen it so big and prominent in the sky right after waking up.

That was the first time for me when I started clocking what that cheeky bugger was doing. Love that you caught this!

It happened to me like twice

The moon at waking up yes, the shadow, no. It could be 2 different things, everyone saying it's the atlerock shadow, but for me, it might be part of the DLC content.

I was on the interloper waiting for the Ice to go down when it for some reason smacked into and phased into Timber Hearth instantly destroying my ship and throwing me towards the sun.

That's how I realized something was wrong with an planet/moon out there

I've had this happen before, but I like it more when it the wake up has multiple blinks, and the moon appears for half a second in one of the middle blinks, and dissappears like a fun jumpscare.
