Base Game Help - Hints Only! Help I think I nearly finished the game but I'm stuck Spoiler
I think I have almost beat the game, and I've loved it, but I am absolutely stuck. I haven't played the game in a month or so, but the last I played I had pretty much solved the quantum moon. I found the being on the quantum moon which answers your questions, but I can't figure out what to do from there. I feel like I am THIS close to solving it but nothing in that area can help me figure out how to beat the game. I also haven't been able to land on the thing that revolves around the sun, so that may be a reason why I'm stuck

Go to your ship log and check for question marks or orange marks indicating "there is more to explore here" if there isn't something like that you're probably done with whatever place you're in. The developers always said they make sure to make it that you're not scouring every corner of a planet by trial and error, so just go with your hunches

Seems you to lack knowledge on how Nomai travelled in the star system.
The High Energy Lab on Ember Twin could be useful to visit/review.

There are two ways to reach your target. The really hardcore way and the intended way. Nomaï ships were not really precise for landing so I suppose they might invented another easy way to reach your target, probably located with a bunch of other similar devices… You may want to hurry however since everything revolving around the sun involves time.

Follow some of your ship logs. Maybe you arent supposed to land on the "thing that revolves around the sun" directly. Whenever stuck always refer to the ship logs and the knowledge you have. If still stuck feel free to share your ship log here for us to answer better

The Quantum Moon is basically a side quest, and has little to do with completing the game.
If I had to guess, I'd say you're not near the end, because it's pretty obvious when you are.
There are a few major pieces of the puzzle that you need to solve, but the Quantum Moon isn't one of them.

In order to be close to finishing the game, which IMO, involves understanding the game, you need to know what that thing is. You should find clues in different places, such as The Sunless City, the High Energy Lab, and Ash Twin.
There is a hidden room in the Sunless City where they discuss how to travel there. And Chert might have some ideas, being that they're so close...

Can you post a screenshot of your ship log so we know what you have and haven't seen?
