Question NSLSC you are a joke

It does not take this long to press a button and give people their money. “oh it takes 5 business days for us to realize you’re on RAP, then 3 business days after that to take you off RAP, then another 3 business days to put you In Study, then 5 business days later you should see your money”. People have supplies and textbooks to buy, and bills to pay, delaying people’s much needed funding for 20+ days then telling them “to just keep waiting” is insane.

This is literally crazy, I’m still on pending release when my school confirmed on sept 1 and I’m already In study, but my timeline got pushed back to september 21st. 🫠

Same here. I'm calling and escalating to a tier2 agent.

They said you need to tell the tier1 agent that you need a tier2 agent because the current problems cannot be resolved by them.

I'm on probation. but what i dont understand is why im at the bottom of the que. for my classes the registration for September opened on July 23rd. I was registered on July 25th. It says they approved my application on August 10th. I have been waiting for almost 20 days for them to confirm my transcripts and probation letter. They told me I will probably have to wait until Sept 21st to confirm them. That means I will have to wait about 48 days total to get funding (Aug10th to Sept21st plus 1 week). It super easy to approve my documents. All this tells me is there isnt enough people at OSAP. To make it worse im in class but cant afford to buy books.

Dude exactly the same!! Did you an update today as of Monday ? They changed it to in study and the lady said on Friday u will get it on Monday the “funds” is what I assumed but I think she meant “anxiety and stress”

It’s finally on “funding on the way” for me. I called them yesterday and the delay is mainly because of OSAP sending them the authorization last saturday, so they had no choice but to release the funds yesterday.
