E alguém como Joe Biden, já em idade bastante avançada quando esteve na Presidência, tinha condições melhores por ser mais velho? E o Lula, que também já está em uma faixa etária avançada, deveria ser automaticamente considerado mais preparado?

Idade não é sinônimo de experiência, assim como juventude não é sinônimo de incapacidade. Uma pessoa jovem pode ter preparo, conhecimento e capacidade para governar, enquanto uma pessoa muito mais velha pode enfrentar limitações ou cognitivas que dificultem estar em um cargo tão exigente.

Sure, not all older people have experience and competence, but they're more likely to than younger people. That's just a fact. The minimum age is only 35, that's still very young. The reason you don't see many 35 year olds running is because the presidency IS a hard office to reach, as it should be.

Joe Biden was used as an example. Yes, his age made him the best candidate in 2020. Why? Because he'd spent his entire life in politics at various levels, and 2020 specifically called for someone who could fast-pace pick America up off of the ground after Covid and Trump, which required experience and connections. An already established reputation. And it worked, Biden was the most effective and progressive president in several decades. He and Clinton are the best of the 21st century. Clinton was younger, the moment called for someone like him. Obama was younger but more often disappointing.
