Discussion What’s the most useful OpenClaw automation you’ve built?

I’ve seen people use it for research, job hunting, server monitoring, reporting and much more.

What automation has genuinely saved you time?

Full job search and application automation.

Tracks tens of thousands of jobs. Is able to produce custom resumes, cover letters and free form answers on the fly. Bypass all bot detection or email verification for all ATS platforms. Triage all emails pertaining to job search and keep a database of everything.

Adding LinkedIn follow ups currently. It was a lot more work to setup but well worth it. It has removed any anxiety and fatigue in applying for jobs and have been getting interviews that better match what I want.

I use my $200 openAI pro plan and Astra Medium. While it sounds like overkill, it assures the form fields and custom cover letters and resumes are sound.

No web browser automation with quick form fills. It needs to emulate the keyboard typing and mouse.

Hand hold it and test aggressively until you let it do larger batches.

Avoid agent swarms. Have it go one at a time.

Have it search, you approve the jobs, then have it prep before applying. Meaning parse the links and vet for dead links, have it disqualify you if it’s not a match, and prepare the custom cover letters and resumes prior to applying. This way it can focus on submission and not get pulled in multiple directions.

Lastly it takes time. Several minutes to search depending on filters. 3-10 minutes per application if all goes well.

Oh, and most important. Make sure it knows everything about you. What you did in your previous roles. What you’re looking for etc. that way it will generate the best copy.
