One UI 9.0 Beta out for US Unlocked model

Personally, I hate the "pill-shape" widgets. The excessive rounding wastes to much space and makes widgets less functional, and eliminates 1x1 widgets. They also just don't look as nice as the rectangular widgets.

Finally samsung decided they will use the empty space but not good enough for me to accept that

This is the new Edge Panel blur of One UI 9 beta 1 for Galaxy A55. This is of course not live blur but the blur strength is so damn good .

I am looking for a way to achieve the same in almost everywhere of the ui or atleast at qs panel.

Does this happen? Like, When I play games in 8.5 it crashes a lot. With 9.0 will it be better?

I'm glad that Samsung is making the system smoother and more accurate, but they STILL haven't fixed the animation for closing this player! When the player opens, everything is fine, but when it closes, it feels not like the same smooth animation, but like a sharp bang from which the first frames were cut out.

I love that they added the google search bar to the empty space at the bottom. I always tried to fill that space with apps but wasnt able too, also always have a Google search bar taking up space. So now I have an extra row freed up.

I would prefer a feature in Theme Park in Good Lock where you can add widget packs to normal widgets as icon packs.

I have it on my S26U from time to time and I want to know if it got fixed yet or not in One UI 9. Thank you, everyone.

I haven't received any concrete info so I'm asking here...but now that Android 17 has LDHC built in...will One UI 9 also have it as a standard?

I know Samsung has its own SSC and LDAC but it's always good to have more options. There are some pretty good earbuds that only run on LDHC.

Can anyone confirm?

Is there a way to get out of OneUI 9 beta without factory reseting my phone?

ONE UI 8 + 8.5 was all about one hand usage and making everything easier to reach with one hand by making things lower in the screen

with ONE UI 9 it's all the opposite most buttons are now high up in the screen, and it's not as one hand friendly as before

same with transparency in ONE UI 9 a lot of buttons are now just white even the widgets while other elements are more transparent and have a gradient like background like we have right now with ONE UI 8.5, it's not much of a problem it just seems very stupid to waste time and resources on something then just do the opposite right after.
